This game is great so far! The writing is excellent, and that's what attracts me most in a game. It glitched out in the building with the alarms, though. Good so far. This game (or at least the style) seems familiar to me, for some reason. Picking different team members was fun. =)

Familiar, eh? Thanks for the encouragement. As for it glitching out in the building with the alarms, yeah, that's basically the furthest I got. Although you should try the matrix maxigame if you haven't already; you need Mort in your party to access it.

Playing Shadowrun because it seemed short enough for me to get through. Perhaps I just couldn't appreciate the writing last time around, but I was quite impressed with its quality through most of what saw. I plan to finish up and hopefully write out a review sometime soon.

Hearing good things about Phantom Legacy, as well, so that'll likely be next. I'd love to get through Starless Umbra again, but I just don't have the time. =[

I apppreciate you playing it, but it's basically a dead in the water project, so your review would be a little wasted.

You should play and review my current project Mage Duel instead. It's also quite short but it's much more playable and complete, and is also a much more recent example of my work.

Damn, when you posted here, Kentona, I was hoping you'd played the game and had some juicy feedback for me! :'(

Especially since Mage Duel's design ethic/style was partially inspired by Hero's Realm, so I really want to know what you (and a wish-list of others) think about it.

Anyway, I could conceivably do a FULL VERSION RELEASE by the 21st of December, since the groundwork is already laid down.

Due to the resurfacing of a multitude bugs I eliminated back in NOVEMBER...

I specified that it was VX cause I know it looks like XP.

It is VX since the screenshots indicate he is using the expanded Sci-fi VX RTP graphics.

I also included lots of graphics converted from XP, but you can't really see them in the screenshots, I admit.

9/23 Through ~Now:
Yesterday and the day b9/efore I made a bunch of new weapons and equipment for Mage Duel, and added a bunch of KGC scripts to it and tested some of them. I also fixed some bug that Craze pointed out.

Today I added a bunch of weapons to my new mystery project, finishing all the weapons I think I'll need in the database for the first part, and also added some scripts (fine-tuning equipment slots) and tested them. Also I tried but was not able to get working a combination of scripts and common events that should have resulted in giving each fighter-type character a skill that let them switch between using two weapons and using a weapon and shield.

And uh, I'm gonna continue working on the mystery project for another hour or so.

PS: Sorry if I am doing this topic wrong.
